Time out to remember a personal hero - I do not know his politics per se but we can thank the late Mayor Tom Bradley and the unsung advocates who pushed for cleaning up LA’s air!
March 17, 1989|From United Press International - Bradley Seeks to Create Smog Agency…Mayor Tom Bradley announced Thursday he hopes to create an agency to coordinate efforts to reduce air pollution in the city.
Bradley said he would add $485,000 to the 1989-90 budget to start an air quality management office that would work with city departments to cut down emissions at the airport, harbor and other city facilities.
